Creativity is not a luxury. It is a necessity. Tending to our whole selves requires that we give attention to our minds, bodies, hearts, and spirits. Many of us are feeling and dealing with (or not) the effects of the external world and our internal psyches.
Symptoms may include:
- a foggy brain
- weight-loss/weight gain
- lack of energy and vitality
- feelings of helplessness, apathy, disillusionment, grief, and/or dis-ease
- simply feeling stuck, stymied, and sick and tired of feeling sick and tire
We may also find ourselves feeling:
- overwhelmed
- in comparison
- practicing perfectionism
- procrastinating
- self-sabotaging
- not being able to start projects or follow through with them
- caught up in habitual thinking, patterns, and practices
- simply sitting in straight-up fear
This is where creativity and whole-health coaching come in!
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Albert Einstein.
Using the tools and philosophies from the ancient wisdom traditions of yoga and meditation, from the old-world poets, artists, and philosophers and their modern-day counterparts, and from the sound trainings of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching (KMCC), the coaching you will find at Before Breakfast with Nicky (BBN) will help you move through whatever processes you need to become a healthier, happier, and more expansively balanced and creative YOU.
Do I have to practice downward-facing dog, you ask?! No. You don’t even need to get on a yoga mat (unless you want to).
Do I have to be a creative person?
If by “creative” you mean someone who works or participates in the arts: no (though all artists are, of course, welcome). Creativity can simply be how you approach and live your life.
Why will BBN help me when nothing else has?
Because we use time-tested tools that help people create forward movement, breaking through blocks, and limiting belief systems. We meet each individual client where they are, not from a cookie-cutter perspective. We help each client create and take small measurable bites (a.k.a. small steps) with mindfulness, compassion, and a dash of humor, as they discover that the seemingly impossible is, indeed, entirely possible (and then some)!
